About your team at Tempe Primary Care:

Frank Rosenberg, FNP-C

Frank has been in healthcare since 1993 when he began working on an ambulance and in the emergency department at Chandler Regional Hospital. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University (Go Devils!) in 2000. Frank has held various roles in nursing including registered nurse in the emergency department, trauma, and intensive care units, leadership, and hospital administration. He completed his Master of Business Administration with honors from University of Phoenix in 2011, and has owned and operated several healthcare related companies with his amazing wife, Amanda.

During COVID in 2020, Frank decided to further his education by attending Northern Arizona University to become a Family Nurse Practitioner with an emphasis on rural health and underserved populations. Frank trained under the mentorship and guidance of Dr. Michael Druschel, MD, Dr. Laura Wade, MD, and Bridget Wicks, FNP-C, where he truly immersed himself in rural health and underserved populations. Frank graduated with distinction with his Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner in 2024 and was recognized as an AHEC Scholar for his work with the Cocopah Reservation near the Yuma-Mexico border. When he is not seeing patients or researching the most current evidence based practice, Frank enjoys exercising the privileges of his private pilot license and spending time with his wife, Amanda, and their daughters, Danielle and Sam.

AHEC Scholars complete no less than 160 hours of didactic and community based learning in a rural or underserved community over a period of two academic years. Core topic areas include inter-professional education, behavioral health integration, connecting communities and supporting health professionals, virtual learning and telehealth, social determinants of health, cultural competency, practice transformation, and current and emerging health issues.
